Talks and slides, 2003–2016

Ten decks recovered in September 2026 from old machines, converted to PDF

The CV lists the conference talks that made it into the official record. These are the slide decks that survived on disk, some for those talks and some for seminars, meetings and courses that were never listed anywhere: a 2003 talk on extending the free model beyond software, the citizen-computing years of Zivis and Ibercivis, a data-scraping course and a 2016 talk on political activity in social networks. Dates come from the files' own metadata or from the first slide. Decks written by colleagues and internal project reviews are left out.

• Extensiones del modelo libreJornadas CGT/Unizar, 2003. Taking the four freedoms of free software into other fields; “we will not solve how to make a free machine, but if anyone has an idea during the talk, let's discuss it”. 18 slides; the same deck survives as GIF images on the libretto laptop.
• Zivis: la computación ciudadana de ZaragozaHispalinux congress, April 2007. Statistics of the Zaragoza volunteer-computing project at 20 April 2007: 2,142 users, 72 % of them local, 80 % of the credit from the city. 7 slides.
• Zivis, estado a 24 de abrila four-page status sheet of the same week: hosts, CPUs and teraflops at 30 minutes, one hour, one day and three days.
• Ibercivis en IberGridMay 2009. The national successor of Zivis after almost a year: six or seven applications, more than ten thousand participants, two to three thousand machines a day. 14 slides.
